I’m Caroline and I’m the founder of The Windsor Archive.
I hope you find something that speaks to you in our store. That’s my mission. These old jewels are survivors and carry with them such meaning and presence.
I simply hope to bring more of these precious little wonders to more people. This collection is carefully put together with my customers mind. Those that buy jewellery from me aren’t looking for bling and glitz. They’re looking for something weird and rare. And that’s why I’m here. Happy browsing!

My Mission
For me, the joy of dealing in antique jewellery lies in the hunt.
There is nothing quite like the thrill of discovering a rare piece that I instinctively know my clients will treasure. That sense of uncovering beauty, of rescuing history and placing it into the hands of someone who truly understands it, is what drives me.
The Windsor Archive is where I share these exceptional, covetable finds with collectors across the world.
My Approach to Sourcing
From my studio in Windsor, in the shadow of the royal castle, I seek out antique and vintage jewellery that feels extraordinary. These are pieces with presence, character and enduring appeal. My sourcing takes me across London and Southern England to antiques fairs and markets. Portobello Road and Camden Passage are my favourites. Then there are the antiques shops tucked away in market towns where the most unexpected treasures often reveal themselves.
When travelling in Europe, I am always searching. I also work closely with trusted dealers across the globe to secure rare and beautiful pieces for my clients.
My Ethos
My love affair with jewellery began in childhood. I remember admiring my grandmother’s gold rings and sifting through her vast collection of mid-century brooches. She had an instinctive eye for adornment that sparked by imagination, even as a child.
Over time, that early fascination deepened into a profound appreciation for collecting as a form of human expression. Cultural artefacts connect us - to one another and to the eras within which the pieces originated. To collect is to honour the craftsmanship, the effort and the artistry with which something was made.
When we acquire a piece of antique jewellery, we become the custodian of its story.
To buy and wear a precious object from history (one that remains as beautiful today as when it was first created) is a deeply positive, sustainable and celebratory act.
